Nature

My work often takes the shape of a story, sculptural 'characters' entailing a set of sequential events, along with a resolution - Dénouement.  You may have seen Brincadores, or Frogs as other examples of this.  Below is a few more films like this.  But these films are also my way of discussing the ever-widening span of abilities and forms we are continuously finding that life and nature can incorporate.  This thematic-thread can be found throughout all of my work.

When it comes to the story-form works, the stories told are allegories reminding the viewer of our ephemeral place in a greater collective journey. They also allude to the mysteries held out of sight by nature; the unknown purposes for our existence and the supernatural System empowering our course.  In these films we are given a glimpse into an enchanting, dreamlike landscape and we leave with a broader understanding of what Life can yield.
